Alhambra Productions is the recording company for Hamza Yusuf Hanson. On occasion, we are also blessed with producing the work of other teachers such as Imam Zaid Shakir, Dr. Umar Farouq, Shaykh Abdallah bin Bayyah, and Sh. Mohammad Yaqoubi. In addition to our own productions, we carry a full line of quality Islamic multi-media material and an exclusive selection of books. Our reading material is selected by our advisory board members, which include Islamic scholars, teachers, home-educators, and alternative medical professionals. We pride ourselves in offering only material of the best quality and authenticity. The Alhambra Palace in Granada, Spain, was the last fortress of Western European Islam. In 1492, the fortress fell to Christian invaders. Abu Abdullah, the last Muslim monarch of Granada, surrendered to Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand with over eighty stipulations, the most important of which was that religious tolerance would continue in his kingdom and that Muslims and Jews would be allowed to practice according to their beliefs. After signing the treaty, the Christians went on to break every promise made and initiated the most horrifying institution in religious history.It was after the fall of Muslim Spain that Europe was flooded with the learning of the Muslims. Christian scholars began to study Arabic while the books of Ibn Rushd (Averroes) and Ibn Sina became required reading in the great schools of Europe. Muslim thought and scholarship nurtured a bleak and ignorant Europe out of what was to become known as the Dark Ages.
The Alhambra Palace is a powerful metaphor for Islam. Viewed externally, we see a majestic and austere fortress, menacing and threatening. But once we pass through its lifeless exterior, we find ourselves in a palace of exquisite beauty. The fragrance of flowers coupled with the subtle textures and gentle sounds of flowing water soothe our souls. Each room reveals new secrets and nuances and the gardens of the Alhambra give us a brief glimpse of a perfect world.
Peoples of the three great religions lived in the shadow of the Alhambra, and tolerance and mutual respect reigned more often than not for seven glorious centuries. That ended in 1492. Just over 500 years later, in 1994, we established Alhambra Productions to contribute to the renaissance of Muslim thought in a West that once again, so badly needs Islam to nurture it out of dark and ignorant times.

Our shipping rates are determined by weight, and are automatically calculated at the time of check-out.All orders are shipped USPS priority mail, unless otherwise specified. Our warehouse is located in California, and most orders take up to 5 days to arrive (USA) after your order has been placed, excluding weekends. We ship out Monday, Wednesday and Fridays.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS- We are happy to ship your items to your country. If your country is not listed, just email us and we can handle your order. The price of shipping is the cost of shipping your items from the USA to your country. It does not include any customs or duty fees you may be charged by your country. We are not responsible for any duty fees. We are sure to keep your duty fees low so you do not incur any fees. Although, we can not guarantee what your country fees impose on your shipment.

International orders take up to 10-20 days to arrive, once your parcel is dispatched any inquiries can be made to the shipping choice (UPS or USPS.com)for tracking or disputes.

Refund, Returns and Cancellation Policies:
If you are not satisfied with your Alhambra Productions purchase, please call 1-877-888-TAPE or 510-690-0098 for a Return Material Authorization (RMA) request within 14 calendar days of the receipt of the product.If the item is returnable and you send it back to us unopened in the original packaging, Alhambra Productions will offer you a refund based on your original method of payment.
You must return the product to the Alhambra warehouse within 14 calendar days of the issuance of the RMA. All products must be packed in the original packaging.
You will be refunded by the form you made your payment minus shipping and minus a 10% restocking fee.
